Seriously rocksmith 2014 is much much better than its predecessor but it still leaves a lot of gaps.

Whats the difference with rocksmith original and 2014 versions when compared with bandfuse. That s right all the lists of alternatives are crowd sourced and that s what makes the data. There probably already is a discussion for this but right now i want to try out rocksmith. Yousician on the other hand is designed as a training app to teach you how to play guitar.

Playing with real people is better. Rocksmith s teaching system changes difficulty on the fly with a dynamic difficulty system. My only question about which one is more worthwhile is mainly on the topic of custom fan made songs. This is probably just because the program has been around for a very long time and has many more users than rocksmith. Bandfuse is a guitar simulator just like rocksmith pretty much a clone but is there more. Rocksmith has a basic overview but nothing more. Which one is more worthwhile to buy.

Both programs have fully automated helplines with jamplay s customer service being very top notch. If nothing else it s helpful to learn from two or three different sources and perspectives as one might give you the ah hah insight the others don t.

Yousician is definitely the better choice. Rocksmith is ultimately just a game and though you use a real guitar to play it you mostly just get good at playing rocksmith.
